Scott Ag Solutions History:

“I grew up in rural Iowa on the family farm and worked for our neighbor, helping with crops, livestock and tractor restorations.  After college and starting my new agronomy job at the local Coop, I married my lovely wife Stacey!  Her plan for more school at ISU meant moving to Ames, IA and finding a new job.  I found a job as a technician working on DICKEY-john grain moisture testers for a company called GSF / Ag Star Services near Des Moines.  After working in service, sales and management, GSF was sold to Perten Instruments, the manufacturer of a new moisture meter we were offering.  I was then hired by Perten (now PerkinElmer) for sales and business development.   My next move was working in sales for another moisture meter manufacturer called Shore Measuring Systems.  In 2018 we decided to take the leap of faith and form Scott Ag Solutions.  The goal was to be home more for the family by offering more local sales & service to the grain industry here in Iowa.  It all started in a small one room office rented from the KCWN radio station in Pella, IA.  We have since moved to a larger office in Leighton, IA and acquired Pro AgStar Services in 2022.  God has blessed us with customers from all over the country, keeping our whole family involved and quite busy.”
